Graphic Design
The Derbyshire Makers
This project was created to facilitate the vision of the business owner, who is herself a creative.
The idea of the logo was to represent a collective of makers and crafters whose eclectic work she curated at her shop.
Railway Kitchen
Railway Kitchen wanted to refresh their dated menu format. The new look had to tie in the existing logo and decor.
We used the darker blue of the logo to keep the brand consistent. The double-folded design accommodated their extensive menu offering, whilst the height and narrow width allowed for maximum space and some added personality on the small tables.
The matt laminate card stock made them easy to wipe clean!
Waffle House Seaton
This project focused on directional and inclusive signage for the exterior and interior of charity, Waffle Seaton, in Devon. The aim was to communicate the special community based services of this charity and their mission to combat loneliness.
The director was also keen for me to add playful, distinctive elements in the signage. Their logo mounted on a quirky piece of oak timber behind the till is just one way we added a more personal feel to the space.
Aspen's Wellbeing Centre & Spa
Aspen's was a personal project created for illustration purposes.
I designed a logo and social media favicons, tri-fold spa retreat promotion and on-site restaurant menu.
Zoë Kenny Pilates
Zoë was changing her existing business to include more online classes and content.
She wanted a professional logo to represent her new offering and supporting graphics to show the different Pilates packages she had to offer.
She also needed an Instagram template style that matched her other brand elements.

The Community Waffle House
This challenge was to create a graphic for a 'Play' area housing some old-school gaming machines.
A Street Fighter character is reimagined, a Ninja Turtle hangs nonchalantly from the lettering above, characterful buildings lean toward the viewer as they survey the scene...
A combination of a fresh approach with a retro vibe, seen here at Waffle Play.
Waffle Jungle Mural
Lots of creative thinking needed to happen in this room.
It was a uniform grey, with office tables and a large server box in one corner.
I chose to fill it with the jungle: A leopard, sloth, chameleon and fire ants all bring this once dry space to life. We renamed it 'The Jungle Room'.
Waffle Woodland Mural
This was a soft play area for 0-4 year olds. It needed to be gentle, innocent and colourful.
I chose to illustrate it using local Devon flora and fauna, with many of the animals down low so the children could see and touch.
A woodpecker chips at the edge of a window frame, a badger sleeps in a corner in his sett, a Nuthatch perches on the edge of the play enclosure...
